Cheap Meal Ideas For College Students

When you go to college you might plan on eating pizza and fast food everything but over time those things can get old and even expensive. It is much cheaper to make food at home, but most dorms do not have or even allow certain types of cooking supplies. Sandwich Wraps
You can make sandwich wraps using tortillas and just about anything you have in your fridge. Add some veggies and some lunch meat or some leftover chicken tenders and some sauce and you have a filling and snack or lunch.

Loaded Pasta

Macaroni and cheese are cheap and easy to make in a dorm but you may get tired of eating them. To make them more appealing and satisfying add some tasty topping and ingredients to them. A can of tomatoes and peppers added to macaroni and cheese gives it some spice and a great flavor and hotdogs give ramen noodles a savory flavor.

Fruit Dips
Craving something sweet, cheap and easy to make? Why not make a fruit dip. Just combine your favorite fruit with pudding or whipped cream and dip crackers, chips or anything else in it. Store it in a mini fridge to keep fresh.

Use The Internet

If you don’t feel like your books and classes are teaching you enough about the rehabilitation career you wish to have, don’t be afraid to use the Internet. You may be able to find new information online that you haven’t learned in class. Just make sure the sources are legitimate.

Study Group

There will be times when you become stressed with school and overwhelmed by your studies. A study group may make studying easier for you. When you study with your friends or classmates, studying becomes a little more fun and you are much more likely to do it. Even when you are burnt out from studying alone it’s always nice to study with a friend or group.

Try An Internship

You can only learn so much in the classroom. You need real life experience to utilize the skills you have learned. Don’t be afraid to apply for an internship while you are still in college. If you have the time for it you might as well do it.

A career in any type of rehabilitation will be fulfilling and rewarding but before you can work in the rehabilitation field you need to study and get your degree. These study tips may help make that easier.
